Show MeNo thanks, closeSee ourPrivacy NoticeNew illuminated LED signs are set to be installed at the Coventry Building Society Arena. Two E.ON Next logos will be placed on the 215,000-square-foot building in Longford.
Signs will be installed as part of a three-year partnership between the Coventry Building Society Arena and energy firm E.ON. In February, they joined forces to improve sustainability at the
major city venue, which has hosted big-name artists including Harry Styles, The Rolling Stones and Sean Paul.
Firm Cushman and Wakefield, which has been employed by E.ON, said the proposed signage 'will not have a significant visual impact on the character and appearance of the surrounding
area.' Instead, they said it would be a 'high-quality addition' to the CBS Arena.

E.ON will be investing in low-carbon infrastructure for the CBS Arena, including solar panels on the roof and EV charging points. Chief Commercial Officer Vijay Tank said they are also
considering upgrading the existing heating and cooling systems in the building.
In 2023, E.ON teamed up with Coventry City Council for a 15-year Strategic Energy Partnership. Together, they will undertake a range of projects, including creating solar farms and improving
home energy efficiency for people across Coventry.
Paul Michael, Managing Director at the Coventry Building Society Arena, said: “It is a major milestone for our business, and we are proud to be partnering with E.ON to drive the next stage
of our sustainability strategy. Our partnership with E.ON is not only about making our own venue as sustainable as possible, it is about making a real difference in Coventry too and
inspiring communities and other businesses to think critically about their use of energy.”
A spokesman for E.ON said: “We are the energy company that aspires to be a sustainability company. So we take genuine pride in forming partnerships like those with Coventry City Council and
Coventry Building Society Arena.
“We are so proud of these partnerships that you are soon going to be seeing the E.ON Next logo displayed all over the Coventry Building Society Arena. Our well-known brand is going to be
popping up at the pitchside for every Sky Blues game, entering stage left at every sold-out show and making a stand at every eye-catching exhibition.”
