ALL SPORTS ARE AVAILABLE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS FROM 10:00 Tens of thousands more tickets for the Paris Olympic games go on sale today (February 8), with a limited number for all
events available on a first come, first served basis. The sale, which starts at 10:00, is the first of many ‘surprise Paris 2024 ticket events’ to be announced over the coming weeks and
months. Around 8 million tickets have already been sold for the Olympic and Paralympic games and organisers plan to use ‘surprise events’ such as this to sell many of the remaining 2 million
tickets. They also plan to open a ticket exchange and reselling site in spring. READ MORE: LAST ‘GRAND STAGE’ OF PARIS OLYMPIC TICKETS TO GO ON SALE NEXT WEEK HOW CAN I BUY TICKETS FOR THE
OLYMPIC AND PARALYMPIC GAMES? Until the reselling site is online, the only way to purchase tickets is through the official website, HERE. You will need to create an account, including your
name, address and phone number. Each account can book a maximum of 30 tickets - including tickets you purchased previously. There are still many tickets available, even before the start of
the ‘surprise ticket event’ at 10:00 on February 8. While tickets for the most popular events (such as athletics) are no longer available, there are still tickets on sale for: * Basketball *
Boxing * Football * Weight lifting * Handball There are also tickets on sale for the opening ceremony for a pricey €2,700. These ‘surprise ticket events’ will add thousands more to the
dwindling pool of available tickets, including to events marked as ‘sold out’. The majority of these new tickets are for events in and around Paris, such as the equestrian events at the
Château de Versailles, the Judo in the Champ-de-Mars Arena and the fencing at the Grand Palais. Most of them will be available for less than €100, with many Paralympics events tickets from
just €15. READ MORE: ‘FLYING TAXIS’ FOR PARIS 2024 OLYMPICS MEET COUNCIL OPPOSITION
