CARLA BRUNI'S ITALIAN RENDITION OF LA DOUCE FRANCE HAS BEEN LEAKED VIA THE SITE MIDI LIBRE CARLA BRUNI's Italian rendition of the Trenet classic _La Douce France_ has been leaked
online, prompting an investigation. The Midi Libre website published the track, which Bruni's agent, Bertrand de Labbey, says was lifted from a stolen from a master version. Labbey said
that Bruni could sue and that an investigation was taking place into how the tape got into the hands of Midi Libre. The 50-second clip, a cover of Charles Trenet's _La Douce France_
entitled _Dolce Francia_, was copied and placed on a number of other sites. Bruni is working on her fourth album, but no release date has been sent. More recently she recorded a version of
David Bowie's _Absolute Beginners_ as part of a tribute album to the British artist. Panned as a “massacre” by some critics, adored by some Bruni fans, you can judge for yourself below.
