Storm causes air traffic delays at u. S. Airports

Pack a good book, charge up your Ipod and get ready for delays AND cancellations. As of 9 a.m. on Sunday, 300 flights at New York City's three major airports  (La Guardia, Kennedy and


Newark) had been cancelled with more likely to follow on Monday.  The intensifying Nor'easter has slowed the pace of travel in the northeast to a virtual crawl due to heavy rain and

Airlines have prepared for the storm like JetBlue who are waiving change fees for fliers booked Sunday, April 15 and Monday, April 16. The discount airline's policy applies to JFK,


LaGuardia, Newark, Westchester County (HPN), Stewart International (SWF), and Washington Dulles (IAD). US Airways have also relaxed ticket policies for those travelers affects by the delays


and cancellations. The kicker is that Sundays delays will likely ripple through the system and cause delays and cancellations on Monday at the same airports.  The good news is that I will
