East coastline is 'very very special' after teaming up with Robson Green to film for a hit TV series. And, as well as spending time by the sea, the ex Newcastle United striker also


had a flight in a vintage aircraft. Like many others in the area, Soldier Soldier and Grantchester actor Robson is a keen NUFC fan, with him posting a number of delighted posts on Instagram


and the Magpies won the Carabao Cup final earlier this year. The first, written minutes after the final whistle blew at Wembley, read: 'LEGENDS! You are all etched in the history of


this club and you have reminded us all why we love Newcastle United! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' with Robson following that up with another, in which he wrote: 'WE


LOVE YOU AND YOU SHALL REMAIN IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER.' So ChronicleLive can only imagine how excited Robson was to be joined by United legend Alan, for what looks like being the latest


episode in the new series of Weekend Escapes, the popular series that has seen Robson travel all over his homeland with a number of different celebrities, to turn the spotlight on all that

Robson was seen being filmed in a boat on the River Coquet, with Rev Richard Coles, who made the final of I'm A Celebrity last year. The pair were spotted by local residents in
