"My car has never been so cold."

Groupon has teamed up with ATS Euromaster to ensure drivers stay cool behind the wheel this summer, with deals starting at £47.49.

An Aircon Recharge R134A - valid for most vehicles registered before January 1, 2017 - costs £47.49, or £58.99 with an additional antibacterial treatment.

An Aircon Regas 1234YF - valid for most vehicles registered after January 1, 2017 - costs £98.49, or £114.99 with an additional antibacterial treatment.

People were urged to check their vehicle log book for the type of refrigerant required before booking.

ATS Euromaster teams will also carry out a pressure test prior to treatment - and if a leak is detected, the recharge and treatment will not be carried out and a full refund will be

provided.

The service, which can take over an hour to complete, is not suitable for electric or hybrid vehicles.

If aircon isn't an issue but tyres possibly are, motorists can get a free check at Halfords, which includes a pressure and tread depth inspection.

Kwick Fit also offer a free brake check, which can be booked here.

However those purchasing the ATS Euromaster Groupon, which expires on September 30, 2025, are urged to check the website for valid locations.
