set to shell out an eye-watering £1bn on the band's reunion tour, a study shows. The average spend of £766 includes tickets, accommodation, £75 on food and drink, £60 on merchandise
plus travel and new outfits. Research by Wonderwallets, part of the Barclays Consumer Spend report, estimates £1.06bn will be spent by the 1.4 million fans attending the 17 UK tour dates –
more than £757 a person. “The experience economy is no longer a trend, it is a fundamental shift in how consumers determine their financial priorities,” said Rich Robinson, the head of

Research in April, involving 2,000 people across the UK. It was supplemented by research specifically among around 200 Oasis ticket-holders. Article continues below Robinson went on,
speaking out ahead of the tour coming this summer: “Just as we saw with the Eras Tour, fans are willing to go to great lengths when there is an emotional connection. It isn’t just about

clothing (£73.70), remain big costs too, with two thirds (67 per cent) planning to purchase accessories or an outfit specifically for the event. Other expenses include an average of £59.70
on official merchandise, as well as £75.20 on pre-concert food and drinks. 16 per cent of fans said they bought Oasis Live ’25 tickets as a gift, while 30 per cent described it as a
sentimental purchase.
