Pub 'well and truly back' as boss gears up to reopen boozer under its old name

THE OWNER OF THE PUB IS TAKING A STEP BACK WITH THE RELAUNCH OF THE PUB 12:46, 21 May 2025 A Sutton Coldfield pub that changed its branding six years ago is set to reopen following a


refurbishment, launching its new era under its old name. The Townhouse, in the heart of Sutton Coldfield, was called The Royal until six years ago when bosses changed up the space. Now it

classic British pub food, as well as an interactive darts area, called 'High Flyers'. Article continues below An exact open date is yet to be announced, though it's expected


to be 'very soon' according to Suburban Inns owner Adrian Harvey. The relaunch will involve a weekend tasting event, with signature cocktails on the menu as well as 'proper


pints'. Adrian said: "The Royal will celebrate everything that makes a proper British pub great. From the perfect pint of Guinness to classic British pub food done exceptionally


well. "The Royal is well and truly back." More than 50 jobs are now up for grabs at The Royal, including waiting staff, front of house and kitchen team members. Those interested in
