STEVEN GERRARD IS NOW ODDS-ON TO BECOME THE NEXT RANGERS MANAGER WITH ONE BOOKMAKER AFTER BETTING ON THE LIVERPOOL LEGEND TO RETURN TO IBROX WAS SUSPENDED 20:04, 20 May 2025 Speculation
about Steven Gerrard's possible return to Ibrox has ramped up after one bookie stopped taking bets on him becoming Rangers manager for a second stint. Gerrard is the front-runner with
other betting companies to take over from Philippe Clement in the long term, following interim head coach Barry Ferguson's departure from the club on Sunday. The ex-Liverpool skipper
left Glasgow for Aston Villa in November 2021 after a tenure of more than three years. He only clinched one trophy, but it was an unbeaten league title victory that stopped Celtic from
securing a record 10th consecutive win. Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: "The return of Steven Gerrard to Rangers this summer may be edging closer as betting is now suspended on
the 44-year-old to rejoin the Glasgow giants. "This comes following a flurry of bets with the Gers target having previously been 1/3 to make the move to Ibrox." Article continues

Rangers role, with former Ibrox defender Russell Martin now the second favourite. _Every day, the BirminghamLive football desk strive to deliver all manner of news, features and
