'important' injury update This event, coupled with other factors, had been a point of discussion and speculation regarding Jay's whereabouts. The inquest heard a message Jay


had sent to Josh, who met Jay and his friends at Manchester airport before flying to Tenerife and swapped numbers before meeting at the festival, in relation to claims Jay had stolen a Rolex


watch worth £12,000 before his disappearance. Josh claimed Jay was trying to sell him the watch for '10 quid', clarifying that meant in slang £10,000, not £10. The message from


Jay read: "Ended up getting thrown out with two Mali kids, just took an AP [expensive watch strap] off somebody and was on the way to sell it." The inquest was also read a message


from Jay's phone between 5.03am and 5.52am on the morning he went missing saying: "Just took a £12k Rolly off some **** off to get 10 quid for it now." Josh also told the


inquest Jay had sent him a picture showing 'knives down his trousers' and said it was captioned 'in case it kicks off'. Jay was found after a month-long search on the


island of Tenerife after going missing while on holiday last year on June 17. He had been attempting to walk back to his accomodation after spending the night at an Airbnb after attending a
