expressed her excitement over their new venture and how they secured the roles after Channel 4 Instagram's account offered fans a glimpse behind the scenes, showing the boys enjoying


their first experience on set. Fans' curiosity led them to question Stacey about the sudden appearance of her children, prompting her to reveal the details on Instagram Stories. She


said, "So many are you messaging me saying, 'Was that Zach and Leighton I saw in Hollyoaks? '," admitting with surprise, "I know it's so random but it was!


" Stacey, aged 35, explained it was the "funniest story", detailing how they got spotted. At the National Television Awards, she and Zach met the executive producer of


Hollyoaks on the red carpet. As a huge fan of the show, Zach's admiration for the soap began in his youth when he couldn't wait for Sundays to watch the Hollyoaks Omnibus. READ

meet the Hollyoaks actress, saying: "And he was like, 'Oh my God, I love Hollyoaks! ' and he was talking to her and she was like, 'Why don't you come down and see


the set? ' He was just over the moon and so excited." Despite Zachary's aspirations to become a mechanic and neither of the boys showing interest in pursuing a career in


acting, they were offered the chance to appear as extras in a scene. Stacey shared: "So me, Zach and Leighton went up there and they just loved it.", reports the Mirror. Article

at Hollyoaks were just so lovely and so kind and so nice to us and they just had the best day ever." Stacey posted a photo of the boys alongside Hollyoaks stars Charlie Wernham and


Charlie Clapham, captioning it: "My boys. For anyone who is raising teenagers I don't know if it's the same for you but it's a rare moment with mine to see them really


excited about something. So I can honestly say, watching how happy and excited they were this day made my heart so happy." During their brief appearances, Leighton played a paperboy who


got scolded for being late, while Zachary dressed up as a Parcel Patrons worker.
