his 50th birthday, is featured on the cover of Men's Health's June issue, showcasing his impressively toned physique. Reflecting on life beyond his milestone birthday last

recounted how a glimpse of himself reminded him more of Mike Reid's Frank Butcher from EastEnders than he would prefer, prompting him to overhaul his lifestyle. "I looked a bit
more like Frank Butcher than I thought I should have at that stage of life," he joked. Article continues below "No one said anything at the time – it was way before social media.
But I knew it was a moment to catch myself. I had to get back on it." Ben also said during the interview that he's "always focused on the outcome" throughout his fitness
regime, admitting that the feeling after a gruelling workout brings him great joy, reports the Mirror. "The agony of putting those shoes on first thing in the morning and taking those
first few steps is nothing compared with the euphoria of taking them off and having a glass of water when you finish. But you only get that once you've finished the bit in the
middle," he explained. Additionally, Ben mentioned that keeping fit has sparked some friendly rivalry with his sons, Sam and Jack. He shared his enjoyment of demonstrating to his sons,
whom he shares with wife Annie, that he can "compete" with them. They've all enjoyed their joint training sessions together. The proud father also mentioned how he's
"inspired" his teenage sons through his dedication to fitness, particularly his eldest, Sam, aged 19. In other news, Ben reflected on how his physique has transitioned since his
last Men's Health cover in 2012, which inspired his latest cover feature. He acknowledged that although his body fat percentage might be slightly higher, he's gained more
