version of Robbie Williams' hit Angels for her final performance hoping to win £250k and the chance to sing at the Royal Variety Show later this year. But following her performance the

started off the commentary, telling Stacey: "If I'm honest I preferred the softer notes at the start and the end." Alesha then asked: "Stacey is your throat dry?"


After Stacey agreed, Alesha continued: "Nerves, nerves, nerves." Article continues below She was then booed by the audience as she added: "It wasn't a perfect vocal but


that doesn't always mattter on a night like this. "What I want to say to you is how much I admire you. Stepping on to this stage is one of the most difficult things people can


do." Simon Cowell praised Stacey though, saying: "Everyone has deserved to get here and it's important that whatever happens...you should be unbeliebably proud of yourself.


"I agree it was really cool that you didn't sing an obvious song...you put your stamp on it." He added: "People are going to root for you, you did great." Viewers at


home took to X to comment, as they said the same cutting thing about Alesha's comment during the BGT final. One wrote: "Alesha, talking about a "non perfect vocal"...she
