West Midlands Police said he was hit by multiple vehicles after falling near Quinton Expressway and Ridgacre Road West, Quinton.


‌ Emergency services rushed to the area surrounding the bridge at 10.10pm yesterday, Monday, May 19.

Nothing could be done to save him and officers appealed to members of the public to help identify him.


Article continues below The drivers involved remained at the scene of the incident and were helping police with their investigation.


A West Midlands Police spokesperson said on May 20: "We're appealing for information after a man sadly died in Quinton.


"We were called after a man had fallen from a bridge and was hit by two vehicles near Quinton Expressway and Ridgacre Road West at just before 10.10pm.


‌ "Tragically, nothing could be done to save him.


"The drivers remained at the scene and are helping with our enquiries.


"We've so far been unable to identify the man and we're asking for anyone who can assist us to get in touch.


‌ "We have specialist officers who can support the man's loved ones.
