ABOUT Jeneba Badmus is a project analyst for the Center to Champion Nursing in America (CCNA), an initiative of AARP Foundation, AARP, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to improve
America’s health through nursing. Before joining CCNA team, Jeneba worked for Older Adults Technology Services (OATS), where she helped provide older adults with robust broadband, devices,
and digital skills training. Prior to OATS, Jeneba spent almost two decades with Hearts and Homes for Youth, a nonprofit to empower youth who have experienced abuse, neglect, and other
trauma. As assistant program director, she oversaw adolescent programs, including after school programs, the shelter, therapeutic and high-intensity group homes, and the semi-independent
living program. Jeneba led efforts to ensure youth were reunified with their families and that trauma-informed care and awareness became standard practice in treating all clients. Jeneba
holds a BS in Biology from Morgan State University, a Residential Child and Youth Care Practitioner license and a Mental Health and First Aid certification. CONTACT Emaiil: [email protected]
