ABOUT Cherri Maple, BA, is a senior administrative associate at the AARP Public Policy Institute, where she supports the financial security team. She provides administrative and programming
support, including coordinating department events and publication launches and organizing the team’s schedules. Before joining AARP, Maple worked at the Reznick Group, where she prepared
monthly occupancy reports for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and helped to prepare proposals, tax returns, and financial statements. She also worked at Nielsen Media
Research, where she played a key role in the daily operations and organized community outreach events. She holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Strayer University and an
