Nestle USA recalled two batches of its Toll House chocolate chip cookie dough because they may be contaminated with wood fragments.

The company said it issued the recall in an abundance of caution after a “small number” of customers contacted Nestle about the issue. No illnesses or injuries have been reported.

“We are confident that this is an isolated issue and we have taken action to address,” the company said in the recall statement. “The quality, safety and integrity of our products remain our

number-one priority.”
